❗️ Inaugurated on January 20 and in full power for 20 days, including today for the second term, the 47th President of the United States Donald Trump has signed about 60 executive orders that all former presidents have never implemented
.
Donald Trump’s decision has caused the most shock in the history of the world, shaking the world on a regular basis and constantly reacting.
The executive order, which critics of President Donald Trump say goes beyond the constitutional powers granted to him, includes the imposition of taxes on Mexico, China and Canada, the suspension of foreign aid, the closure of federal government agencies, the crackdown on illegal immigration, the banning of transgender people in the military and the use of federal funds for health care and other issues.
As of Feb. 7, at least 59 executive orders had been signed by President Donald Trump in less than a month, making him the most-issued president in US history.
President Donald Trump’s decree has caused controversy both in the United States and around the world, with the force of the protests gradually appearing and reaching large scale in the United States.
In American politics, Democrats, senators and congressmen who lost more than 2 million votes to Donald Trump called some of Donald Trump’s decrees a “constitutional crisis” in the United States, especially when he ordered the closure of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The Judiciary has also begun work, with some state judges dismissing Donald Trump’s order, and attorneys-generals in at least 18 other states have filed lawsuits against Donald Trump, claiming it was “unconstitutional.”
As of February 2025, federal judges in at least three states – Washington, Maryland and New Hampshire – have ruled against President Donald Trump’s executive order aimed at terminating the natural birth rights of children born in the United States to noncitizen parents. The actions of these courts have temporarily suspended the implementation of executive orders nationwide.
In addition to these federal cases, 18 state attorneys have filed lawsuits against the executive order, with federal judges in Boston currently considering their motion to block them. This indicates that judges in many states are actively reviewing and, in some cases, stopping the implementation of the executive order.
According to the New York Times, Vice President JD Vance announced that “judges are not allowed to exercise the legitimate power of the executive,” warning the federal court of the court’s decision with a vague view of President Donald Trump’s agenda.
“We are in a constitutional crisis right now,” said Erwin Chemerinsky, dean of the Berkeley University School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley. There were many unconstitutional and illegal activities during the first 18 days of President Tram’s term. “We have never seen anything like this.”
NBCNEWS published a comparative record of previous presidential decrees over the past 100 days, showing that former President Ronald Reagan issued 18 executive orders. Former President George H.W. Bush has issued 11 executive orders. Former President Bill Clinton has issued 13 executive orders. Former President George W. Bush has issued 11 executive orders. Former President Barack Obama has issued 19 executive orders. In the first term, President Donald Trump issued 33 executive orders. President Joe Biden has issued 42 executive orders.
But at the beginning of Donald Trump’s second term, he issued more than 60 executive orders in just 20 days.
